Arizona’s religious freedom bill – what a stupid idea
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer announced Wednesday she has vetoed a controversial bill that would have allowed religious beliefs as a defense for denying service to gays and others.
Brewer, who spent several days considering whether to sign the bill, said it had “the potential to create more problems than it purports to solve. It could divide Arizona in ways we cannot even imagine and no one would ever want.”
Finally, what a stupid idea was that freedom will
Believing in a god, no matter what name you want to use is a good thing, but religions and churches were created to control people. Remember how many wars have happened in the name of God, how many priests abuse kids, how many of them are actually gay. Most religious principles and books were written by men not by Gods and they were written based on the the believes of the person who wrote them. I believe Mother Nature is God and I don’t think she would like to see their kids killing and hating each other just for having differences, no mother will hate her own child for being different than her other kids and no mother will hate their kids for being black, gay, divorced, etc, in fact no mother will hate their kids even if they are the worse person in the world, so what right we have to discriminate those that are different that us? If there’s a God I’m sure he or she will have a special place in his or her heart for those that are discriminated.
I’m glad I don’t have to read the bible or any other books, I like the idea of being a free spirit who chooses to believe what I want and not what someone wants me to want and by the way, whoever God is, it seems to like it because I’ve been blessed in many ways my whole live, so I think is ok to be a free spirit the same as to be part of any religion.
